Where Families Learn and Grow Together

Contact us to sign up or schedule a classroom visit! We are now enrolling for Spring 2017, ages 0 to 5 years.

The South Spokane Co-op Preschool is an early learning experience for children in which parents take an active part. Young children receive developmentally appropriate stimulation in a classroom with other children, and adults learn valuable skills that help them be better parents.

Parent participation is key
Children and parents attend Co-op together. While the children play and learn, the parents lead activities, prepare snacks, participate in parent education sessions, and clean up. Parents also attend a monthly business meeting and participate in fund raising, field trip planning, and seminars. Classes run from September through May each year; Monday through Friday. See here for more details.

How to enroll
1. Review the website and read the parent handbook thoroughly.
2. Contact us via e-mail or phone and set up an appointment to visit the class.
3. Simply fill out a registration form and pay the registration fee. Set up a start date for your child(ren).
Enrollment is ongoing throughout the year if space is available. We encourage interested families to contact us for more information and to arrange for a visit. This will allow you to see our classes, meet the parents and facilitator, and see the program in action.

See us in action
Here’s a short movie from 2013 showing what we experience at Co-op. This is a family day of mixed ages, infant to five years.

We are affiliated with Spokane Community College’s Parent Cooperative Program.
